Liberty Wars Remastered Could Potentially Lead To A Sequel

Previously today, Bandai Namco shocked Freedom Wars fans with the statement of a remaster for the Switch and numerous other platforms. This video game will get here on 10th January next year and obviously it might unlock for a follow up.
Talking to IGN, director Takashi Tsukamoto discussed how he hopes the remaster can be effective enough to "take the next enter possibly launching a follow up". There is no verification right now, however the group has "lots of concepts" if it does go ahead:
