Japan releases military interactions satellite on 4th flight of H3 rocket

Japan's brand-new H3 rocket flew for the 4th time ever on Monday early morning (Nov. 4).The H3 introduced Kirameki 3, a military interactions satellite likewise called DSN-3, from Tanegashima Space Center on Monday at 1:48 a.m. EST (0548 GMT; 3:48 p.m. regional Japan time).The flight was obviously a success: Kirameki 3 released at about 29 minutes after liftoff as prepared, generating cheers and handshakes in objective control, as seen in the launch webcast by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).A Japanese H3 rocket introduces the Kirameki 3 military interactions satellite from Tanegashima Space Center on Nov. 4, 2024.
