Jan. 5 (UPI)-- The suspect in the New Orleans New Year's Day terrorist attack stopped working to detonate 2 improvised explosive gadgets he had actually planted along the city's famous French Quarter prior to ramming his truck into a crowd, eliminating 14 individuals and hurting lots of others, the FBI stated Sunday.
The suspect, 42-year-old U.S. Army veteran Samsud-Din Jabbar, was shot dead by cops after he drove a leased pickup through a crowd of New Year's revelers on New Orleans' renowned Bourbon Street early Wednesday.
