Diego Ferreira anticipating a “scrap” versus Grant Dawson at UFC 311: “Look for the surface”
Diego Ferreira is wanting to advise the light-weight department that he's still a legitimate competitor.
Ferreira is coming off a return win over Mateusz Rebecki in May. After the success, the expect Ferreira was to eliminate once again before the year was up, however that didn't take place after the UFC could not discover him a battle.
"I was, it was among those things, I was attempting to return as quickly as I could," Ferreira stated on Just Scrap Radio on BJPENN.com. "I took like 2 weeks' rest after my last battle, I was anticipating to return quickly. The UFC was attempting to get a battle, I called out some guys however no one accepted. It's now like 8-9 months without battling. I'm pleased, however my time is ticking, however I'm pleased to be on an excellent card."
