WASHINGTON, Feb. 26, 2024-- The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today are releasing a brand-new effort to assist farmers cut expenses and boost earnings utilizing underutilized sustainable innovations consisting of smaller-scale wind jobs. Through the Rural and Agricultural Income & & Savings from Renewable Energy (RAISE) effort, USDA is setting a preliminary objective of assisting 400 private farmers release smaller-scale wind jobs utilizing USDA's Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).
