Joey Badass desired smoke with the West Coast, and now he’s got it. On Wednesday (Jan. 8), Top Dawg Entertainment signee Ray Vaughn returned fire at the Pro Era rap artist on “Crashout Heritage.”

“What’s with the sneak dissin’? Takin’ chance ats us, then conceal the Uzi/ ‘Cause the only bada ** the world was recognizin’ is Boosie,” Vaughn spat in referral to Joey Badass’ New Year’s Day (Jan. 1) track “The Ruler’s Back.” He included, “Please do not get puzzled with shootin’ the films, we actually shootin’/ Was on Soul album, so if you ask me, you appear like a goofy.” For context, the Brooklyn host formerly appeared on Ab-Soul’s “Moonshooter” from Herbert

“The West Coast the very best coast, now get the f ** k out my– uh/ They ain’t got it like us, we whoopin’ feet and applyin’ pressure,” Vaughn rapped later on in the freestyle. Fittingly, the record tested “heart pt. 6” by Kendrick Lamar, who numerous hypothesized captured a subliminal on the previously mentioned Joey Badass tune.

“Too much West Coast d ** k lickin’/ I’m hearin’ n ** gas throwin’ rocks, actually ain’t s ** t stickin’/ ‘Cause if we talkin’ bar-for-bar, actually it’s slim pickings,” Joey Badass declared on “The Ruler’s Back.”

Previously on the Conductor Williams-produced record, he declared, “I got murals in my city, f ** k an election,” a line that numerous analyzed as a nod to Lamar’s GNX standout cut “wacced out murals,” particularly provided the timing of the 2 releases. So far, the 1999 rap artist has yet to react to Vaughn.

“Crashout Heritage” didn’t extra Tory Lanez either, with Vaughn stating the Canadian artist needs to’ve repented of his function on DDG’s “HANDLING BUSINESS.” The Long Beach native dispensed, “‘Fore you went the prison, in the cubicle, me and you was Kenan and Kel/ Stranger things occurred on the mic’ when n ** gas beef over Ls/ Don’t believe you shot her, I was prayin’ for your liberty too.”
