The trademark filing does indeed identify this as separate app, though that it also be related to -app offerings that have become a element of the version of TikTok.

Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, third- are able to integrate “Mini ”, which are essentially smaller, more versions of their own within the broader Douyin .

Douyin's mini programs are accessible via the side in the app, providing to a of mini-apps for ordering, ride-hailing, ticket , etc., within Douyin itself. That enables Douyin to conduct a lot more of their daily in a , which has provided more for Douyin to expand behaviors.

It remains to be seen whether TikTok will be able to a thing, because while expanded shopping, and -stream shopping in particular, have resonated in , still remain lukewarm on such options.
