The last ball Tom Brady tossed as a member of the New England Patriots is now readily available for purchase.
Logan Ryan, the previous Tennessee Titans cornerback who obstructed Brady's last pass as a Patriot, is auctioning off the signed football and the earnings will benefit his structure, Ryan Animal Rescue Foundation, per Newsweek's James Brizuela.
The ball is presently noted on Goldin Auctions for $100,000. It includes Brady's signature together with the date and is engraved with “last pass as a patriot.”
“Obviously this ball, from being a previous Patriot to being Tom Brady's last pass as a Patriot, we believed how much better would it be that part of the earnings went to assisting animals,” Ryan stated. “Tom is a big animal supporter also … he lags also.”
Ryan didn't get Brady to sign the ball till a couple of years later on when the 2 were colleagues on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“I went to Tampa Bay and partnered with Tom, I got him to sign it. He didn't understand he was signing that ball,” Ryan stated. “He was singing some things for me, and I kinda snuck it in there with a published note with a ‘Please can you simply sign and date this, and really it's your last pass as a Patriot, can you compose that on there for me?' And he chuckled about it and put it on Twitter. He had a good time with it.”
Brady's last pass with New England began Jan. 4, 2020, in a match with the Titans in the wild-card round. The Patriots tracked by simply a point with the famous quarterback was obstructed by Ryan for a pick-6 with simply 15 seconds left.
While it's definitely a play Brady wish to forget, he can a minimum of felt confident that the football is approaching a great cause.
