If Jake Paul requires a launching challenger in blended martial arts, a familiar enemy wants to step up.
Paul plans to make his MMA launching after partnering with PFL. CEO Peter Murray anticipates “The Problem Child” to get in the cage in 2025.
Paul’s only loss in boxing visited split choice to Tommy Fury in February 2023. Fury invested a long time training MMA with UFC interim heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall and would enjoy absolutely nothing more than to beat Paul in MMA, too.
“Jake Paul’s in the PFL, isn’t he? I’m going to smash his face in when I get proficient at MMA,” Fury stated on his YouTube channel. “I’ll beat him in boxing and the cage. Huge ineffective prick. I reckon a year-and-a-half to 2 years of training up until I’ll beat him in a battle, no issue, in the cage.
“He’s got the funds, he’s got the very best fitness instructors worldwide, he’s got the very best sparring worldwide. He’s doing all. No match for me. I testify you, next time I battle him, I’ll knock him out. In MMA, I simply wish to provide him a huge fat (knee). All elbows, no fists.”
Given that losing to Fury in the ring, Paul (10-1) rebounded with 4 successive wins, most just recently a TKO of Mike Perry in July. He handles 58-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson (50-6-2) on Nov. 15 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
