Trump thinking about Loeffler for secretary of Agriculture: report

President-elect Donald Trump is set to choose businesswoman and previous Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler to act as the secretary of the Department of Agriculture, according to CNN.

The billionaire conservative donor is presently acting as the co-chair of Trump’s inauguration preparation committee.

The consultation comes as Trump’s innovation business is supposedly in speak with get crypto group Bakkt, previously headed by Loeffler and established by her other half Jeffrey Sprecher’s business Intercontinental Exchange. Loeffler worked as CEO of Bakkt from 2018 till December 2019, when she was selected to fill a job in the Senate by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp.

Trump Media and Technology Group’s interest in the group sent out shares of Bakkt skyrocketing previously today.

If validated, Loeffler will be amongst the wealthiest members of Trump’s administration, signing up with billionaires Doug Burgum, Howard Lutnick, Linda McMahon, Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk.
