The troubles continue for “Mr. Finland.”
Makwan Amirkhani made his very first post-UFC combating look Saturday at OKTAGON 54 in Ostrava, Czechia, and was completed by budding light-weight star Mochamed Machaev.
Machaev (14-1) ended up an inflamed Amirkhani (17-10) in Round 3 as part of the promo's $1 million Tipsport Gamechanger competition opening round.
Amirkhani was likely down 2 rounds on the cards by the time the battle struck Round 3. Machaev didn't permit him time for a surface, however, as he drilled Amirkhani with a check left hook. Amirkhani dropped onto all fours and soaked up a set of follow-up punches that sealed the offer.
