Why Matt Reeves Isn’t Directing The Penguin

In a current interview, The Batman director Matt Reeves described how close he concerned directing an episode of The Penguin, a spin-off series starring Colin Farrell. He was deeply included in the program’s advancement, scheduling disputes with The Batman follow up required him to step away from directing. “The thing is that I truly wished to,” Reeves stated, describing that his early discussions with Farrell made it appear possible. He could not direct this time, Reeves didn’t rule out future participation. “If [a] schedule ever emerged … I believe it would be truly enjoyable,” he stated, noting his enjoyment to continue dealing with Farrell on The Batman Part II.

Reeves, who is an executive manufacturer on The Penguin, likewise formerly validated that Robert Pattinson’s Batman and Paul Dano’s Riddler will not appear in the program. “Rob is not going to remain in the program,” Reeves informed Total Film. the series will concentrate on Farrell’s character’s increase to power.
